Applications are now open for the 2027 Deloitte Tax Graduate Programme – TRAXEE. Deloitte offers career opportunities across Audit & Assurance (A&A), Tax & Legal (T&L) and our Consulting services business, which is made up of Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory (SR&T) and Technology & Transformation (T&T). 

Are you passionate about data, technology, or tax? Join Deloitte’s Tax & Legal business unit as a Data Analyst, Tech Graduate, or Tax Honours Graduate and kick-start your career with hands-on experience, professional development, and exposure to cutting-edge solutions.

The graduate programme offers a 12-month journey of ongoing development, with the potential for progression to a second year based on performance. You’ll work closely with tax professionals, leveraging your analytical, technical, and tax knowledge to deliver exceptional solutions to clients. The programme includes on-the-job coaching, rotational experience in selected departments, and access to globally aligned learning pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, transform, and load data to support tax compliance and reporting.
  • Develop and implement analytical models and technology-driven solutions for tax strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology into tax processes.
  • Interpret complex datasets to generate actionable insights for tax planning.
  • Support the maintenance and development of tax technology tools.
  • Participate in client projects, including solution demos.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with tax legislation.
  • Deliver high-quality service experiences and contribute to team success.

Requirements

Honour’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Law, Finance, Tax, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of data analytics and data wrangling (e.g., SQL, SAS, Alteryx).
  • Business intelligence and data visualisation skills (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
  • Coding skills (e.g., Python, C#, .Net).
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Machine Learning, NLP) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with tax legislation and principles is advantageous.
