 Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment’s (DFFE) Internship Programme 2026/2028 for Unemployed South African graduates (R7,860.50 per month stipend)

Applications are now open for the 2026 Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment’s (DFFE) Internship Programme. The DFFE invites UNEMPLOYED GRADUATES in possession of a THREE YEAR formal QUALIFICATION from a recognised higher education institution, to apply for the 2026 – 2028 Internship Programme.

Requirements | applicants must:

  • be unemployed youth (South African (SA) citizens);
  • have not previously participated in any internship programme in the public service;
  • have completed at least a three (3) year qualification from a recognised higher education institution.

Monthly Stipend

  • Interns will receive a stipend/allowance of R7,860.50 per month

Application Procedure:

Procedure | order of application documents:

  • application must be submitted on a new Z83 form;
  • attach a CV with more than one reference;
  • on the Z83 form, on the space provided for position indicate “DFFE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME” and use the reference provided on the advert;
  • only shortlisted candidates are required to submit certified copies of ID documents, qualifications, and recent academic transcripts/records;
  • incomplete and late applications will NOT considered.
  • All attachments for online applications must include a signed and initialed Z83 application form and a CV only, in PDF and as one (1) document or attachment
    • indicate the correct job title and the reference number of the post on the subject line of your email.
    • for coastal regions – Eatern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces – use the correct email address associated wih the post.
    • for inland regions – Free State, Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and North West provinces – use the following email address for all posts: [email protected]
    • JPEG (picture/snapshot) application will not be accepted.
