Applications are now open for the 2026 Kia SA Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme.
Kia South Africa invites unemployed youth aged between 18–29, residing in Polokwane, Nelspruit, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, to apply for the Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme. This initiative provides structured workplace exposure within the automotive industry, enabling young people to develop practical skills, build confidence and gain valuable professional experience.

Programme Overview

 Successful candidates will gain the following during the 12 months structured programme:

  • Mentorship and guided skills development from experienced professionals
  • Practical workplace experience and training within a reputable automotive organisation
  • Exposure to industry‑specific knowledge and experience to enhance your CV
  • A monthly stipend in line with YES Programme guidelines

  • Sales
  • Workshop & Parts
  • Administration
  • Finance
  • Human Resources

Minimum Requirements

 To qualify, applicants must be:

  • Aged between 18 – 29 years old, currently unemployed
  • A South African citizen with a valid ID
  • Grade 12 / Matric (additional qualifications are advantageous)
  • Clear criminal record
  • Must not have participated in a YES Programme previously

  • Basic computer literacy (where applicable)
  • Absolute integrity, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic coupled with the curiosity to learn and develop
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions and tasking diligently
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and workplace standards
